The following is a list of expectations of you, as a student, throughout the semester.
- RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT: You are expected to show respect to everyone in our classroom--that includes your teacher and your fellow classmates. Blatant outbursts and displays of disrespect will result in letters or phone calls home and guidance or deans referrals as well as a lowering of your grade. Knowing how to interact with others in a professional situation, such as being in school or at work, is an important part of being successful as a student. Therefore, your classroom conduct is an important factor in determining your grade.
- ATTEND CLASS EVERYDAY: You are expected to be in class everyday. If you are absent, you are to bring a note. Three unexcused absences will result in a letter home. More than three will result in a phone call home at my discretion. Excessive absences will result in further action.
- BE ON TIME EVERYDAY: If you are late to class five times, you will get a letter home. Excessive lateness will result in a call home. Continuing lateness will result in further action.
- BE IN UNIFORM EVERYDAY: Our school has a uniform dress code: white shirt and black pants. It is required for you to wear this uniform each day.
- SHOW EFFORT: You are expected to give your best effort to all classroom assignments, homeworks, and projects because "continuing effort, not strength or intelligence is the key to unlocking our potential."
